FretHaus, a guitar design and senior thesis studio, is a collaboration between Auburn faculty members Rich Britnell, Keith Medley and David Gowan, in the AU School of Industrial and Graphic Design.
“FretHaus” combines the word “Fret,” a common guitar component, with the German word “Haus” to echo the word Bauhaus, an influential school of art and design founded in 1919 in Weimar, Germany.
