Industrial Design, as taught at Auburn, is a very comprehensive and analytical approach to problem solving. The methodology program has its roots from the Bauhaus School of Design that was known around the world for its critical thinking and design of functional artifacts. Auburn University Department of Industrial & Graphic Design is one of the oldest, fully NASAD accredited Industrial + Graphic Design schools in the United States of America. Design Intelligence Magazine consistently ranked the Auburn program as one of the top ten design schools in America.
